24-inch wheels · 9.25 kg · approx. ages 8–10

Inseam: 57–74 cm, feet flat on the ground.

How to check the fit

Measure your child barefoot, from the floor to the crotch, using a book held level between the legs. Height and inseam are more useful than age alone. Check that your child can reach the ground and operate the brakes comfortably.

Delivery, swaps and returns

Can I change bikes during my subscription?

Yes, as often as needed, subject to availability. A swap does not restart your 12-month commitment. This also applies when your child moves from a balance bike to a pedal bike.

Swaps at our showroom are free, with no appointment needed, Monday to Friday. For delivered swaps, the transport charges below apply.

Does my monthly price change when I swap?

The new bike’s price applies from your next monthly billing date, whether it is higher or lower. The period already paid for stays at the previous price, with no pro-rata adjustment. Your billing date and initial commitment remain unchanged.

What are the delivery and return charges?

The first delivery is free for every new subscription throughout Switzerland.

For a swap, another delivery is free once 12 months have passed since the last free delivery under that bike’s subscription. Deliveries in between are charged. A paid delivery does not restart this waiting period.

You pay for returning the bike, both during a swap and at the end of the subscription. You can bring it back to our store free of charge. If Revolv arranges transport, these rates apply:

Bike typeCharge per bike, per chargeable journey
Pedal bikeCHF 31, including VAT
Balance bikeCHF 15, including VAT

Delivery of the replacement and return of the previous bike are separate journeys. If both are charged and both bikes are pedal bikes, the total is CHF 62; for two balance-bike journeys, it is CHF 30. If the outgoing delivery is free, only the return arranged by Revolv is charged.

For families with several bikes, charges apply per bike and free-delivery eligibility is tracked separately for each bike subscription. For example, return transport arranged by Revolv for two pedal bikes costs CHF 62 including VAT.

Subscription terms
  • Initial 12-month commitment; swaps do not restart it.
  • Free first delivery throughout Switzerland.
  • New or previously used, checked and serviced bike, depending on stock.
  • Rental payments are not deducted from a purchase price.
  • Transport arranged by Revolv: CHF 31 per bike, per charged journey. Store returns are free.
Starting your subscription and the 14-day trial

Are there any registration fees?

No. We do not charge registration fees.

When does my subscription start?

Your subscription starts on the day you receive your bike (delivery or collection from our showroom). Your next monthly payment is taken one month later, then on the same date each month.

Can we try the bike for 14 days?

Yes. At the start of a new subscription, you can notify us within 14 days of receiving or collecting the bike that you do not wish to continue. The bike must then be returned within 7 days of your request.

The first month remains payable. No further monthly instalments or balance of the 12-month commitment are charged under this trial. This is a paid trial, not a free trial.

Returning the bike to our store is free. If Revolv arranges return transport, it costs CHF 15 per balance bike or CHF 31 per pedal bike, including VAT. The bike may have been tried normally; damage is assessed separately.

This trial applies at the start of a new subscription. It does not restart when you swap bikes. Contact us to arrange the return.

Commitment and cancellation

The initial trial and confirmed theft, loss or irreparable damage have separate rules explained in their respective sections.

The initial 14-day trial is an exception: if you notify us and return the bike within the trial deadlines, only the first month remains payable, plus any applicable return transport and separately assessed damage.

How long is the commitment?

The initial commitment is 12 months. Swaps keep the same commitment: after 8 months, 4 months remain, even if you change model or move from a balance bike to a pedal bike.

How do I end my subscription after 12 months?

After the initial commitment, you can cancel at any time. Your subscription and billing end when the bike arrives at our premises. A monthly period that has already started remains payable in full, without a pro-rata refund.

To avoid another monthly charge, allow enough time for the bike to reach us before your next billing date. Returning it to our store is free; return transport arranged by Revolv is charged according to the bike type.

Can I end my subscription before 12 months?

Yes, by paying the balance of your initial commitment:

Remaining monthly instalments × the monthly bike price at the start of your subscription.

This reference price stays the same even if you have swapped bikes. Payments already made are not recalculated.

Example: your subscription started at CHF 20 per month. After 8 monthly payments, 4 remain: the balance is CHF 80, even if your current bike has a different monthly price.

The balance excludes Peace of Mind Insurance and future transport that is not provided. Return transport actually arranged by Revolv is charged separately.

Bike condition, maintenance and repairs

Will I receive a new bike?

Depending on stock, you receive a new bike or a previously used bike that has been checked and serviced. A subscription does not guarantee a new bike.

Who handles maintenance during the rental?

You arrange and pay for maintenance and repairs at a local workshop. Revolv does not provide home repairs. The servicing and cleaning we carry out between rentals do not constitute an included maintenance service during your subscription.

What should I do if I find a defect?

Contact us with a description and photos before commissioning a repair for which you wish to request reimbursement. A component, assembly or preparation defect may become apparent after delivery. We assess your request using the available information and may ask for a workshop diagnosis or quote.

Any reimbursement approval is confirmed in writing, specifying the accepted work and maximum reimbursable amount. Reimbursement requires an invoice and is limited to the agreed amount. Diagnostic fees are not automatically covered.

A repair carried out without prior approval is not automatically reimbursed: requests are assessed individually. This procedure does not limit your applicable statutory rights.

Defect handling is separate from Peace of Mind Insurance: you do not need this optional cover to report a defect to us.

What happens when I return the bike?

We inspect, service and clean the bike for the next family. Normal wear, superficial scratches, standard adjustments and normal cleaning are included, whether or not you have Peace of Mind Insurance.

For small broken or damaged parts (grips, pedals, bell, derailleur), we cover the first CHF 20 per return; beyond that, they are charged to you. Punctures, tyres damaged by skidding and cleaning a bike returned very dirty are also charged. Peace of Mind Insurance covers these costs with no deductible, up to CHF 150 per return.

Damage caused by an accident, serious negligence, misuse or poor maintenance, and damage to the frame, fork or rims, is never covered. It is charged at the actual cost of repair, on a quote sent before the work, and never more than the bike’s value as set out under “Theft, loss and irreparable damage”.

Theft, loss and irreparable damage

What should I do if the bike is stolen, lost or irreparably damaged?

Report theft, loss or potentially irreparable damage to Revolv promptly. Describe the circumstances and provide photographs where available. In the event of theft, file a police report and send us the reference or supporting document.

We assess the circumstances and responsibility before determining whether compensation is payable. Compensation is not automatically charged for every incident. Where compensation is due, it equals the bike’s value according to its age, counted from when it was first rented, as a percentage of its retail price when new. Rental payments are not deducted from that value.

Bike ageValue due
Less than 1 year100%
1 to 2 years80%
2 to 3 years60%
3 to 4 years40%
4 years or more20%

A bike that is not returned to us is treated as lost.

Peace of Mind Insurance does not cover theft or loss. Its other exclusions continue to apply, including the exclusion of structural damage.

Can I continue with a replacement bike?

If you continue with a replacement bike, your original subscription commitment remains unchanged; it does not restart for another 12 months. Any compensation for the previous bike is handled separately.

What happens if I end the subscription after an incident?

If you end the subscription permanently, once the incident has been confirmed, the subscription ends with effect from the date of your documented notification to Revolv. The monthly period already started remains payable. No outstanding balance of the 12-month commitment is added to the compensation. Any compensation claim is handled separately and does not keep subscription charges running until it is paid.

Subscriptions and purchases

Do monthly payments count towards owning the bike?

No. For contracts entered into on or after 1 February 2025, a subscription is a rental: monthly payments are not deducted from a purchase price.

Our used bikes are not routinely offered for sale. Occasional sales may take place during the year, so buying the bike you rent is not guaranteed under the current offer.

I subscribed before 1 February 2025. What happens to my old offer?

Contracts entered into before that date retain the possibility of deducting monthly payments when buying the bike, under their original terms. Contact us so we can review your contract.

Peace of Mind Insurance: cover and exclusions

Peace of Mind Insurance covers selected work carried out by Revolv, on return only. External workshop repairs during the rental are not reimbursed by this option.

No deductible. Cover limit: CHF 150 per return.

What is included for everyone, with or without the option?

  • Normal wear and superficial scratches.
  • Standard adjustments and normal cleaning on return.
  • For small broken or damaged parts, the first CHF 20 per return.

What is covered when the bike is returned?

  • Small broken or damaged parts, including grips, pedals, the bell or derailleur, for the amount above the CHF 20 we cover for everyone.
  • Puncture repairs and inner-tube replacement carried out on return.
  • Tyres damaged by repeated skidding.
  • Cleaning a bike returned very dirty.

Without the option, this work is charged to you. With the option, it is covered with no deductible, up to CHF 150 per return.

What is excluded?

  • Theft, loss, attempted theft and vandalism.
  • Damage caused by an accident or collision with a third party.
  • Serious negligence, misuse or unauthorised modifications.
  • Structural damage, including damage to the frame or fork, or severely bent rims.
  • External workshop maintenance and repair bills during the rental, including puncture repairs.

Excluded damage is charged at the actual cost of repair, on a quote sent before the work, and never more than the bike’s value according to its age.

How do I cancel Peace of Mind Insurance?

You may request cancellation of Peace of Mind Insurance at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly period already paid for, at your next billing date. No pro-rata refund is provided.

If Revolv receives the bike before the cover ends, Peace of Mind Insurance applies subject to its covered services, limit and exclusions. If the bike arrives after the cover has ended, the option does not cover that return. Normal wear remains accepted without charge, whether or not the option is active.

Taking out the option again does not cover damage already present.

Before cancelling, please note: to benefit from Peace of Mind Insurance, your bike must reach us before your cover ends.

Purchase: returns, exchanges and buyback

Can I return a purchased bike or exchange its size?

We do not offer refunds simply because you change your mind about a purchased bike.

If you chose the wrong size, contact us within 14 days of receiving or collecting your bike to arrange a size exchange. The bike must remain in as-new condition and must not have been ridden outdoors.

Transport costs for returning the bike and sending the replacement are payable by the customer. A size exchange at our store carries no exchange fee.

This commercial exchange policy does not limit the rights applicable to a defective bike or a bike that does not match the order. Contact us so that we can assess the issue separately.

The initial 14-day subscription trial is a separate offer and does not apply to purchased bikes.

What if the replacement costs more or less, or the size is unavailable?

If the replacement bike is more expensive, you pay the price difference. If it is less expensive, we refund the difference.

If the correct size is unavailable, we offer an equivalent model or inform you of the proposed waiting time. If neither solution suits you, we exceptionally accept the return and refund the bike, subject to the same condition requirements and the initial 14-day deadline for requesting the exchange. Return transport remains at your expense; no store credit is imposed.

Already a customer? The terms applicable to your existing contract remain the reference.

Guaranteed buyback

When the bike gets too small, we buy it back if it is in good condition, depending on how long it has been used:

  • 12 months: 55% of the new price
  • 18 months: 42% of the new price
  • 24 months: 30% of the new price
